27 January 2012 Bosko Lazic, whom the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina charges with giving a false statement in an investigation about war crimes in Bratunac, and Saban and Elvir Djelilbasic, who are charged with crimes committed in Turbe, Travnik municipality are due to appear before the State Court and enter their pleas next week.
Lazic, who is charged with having given a false statement to the State Investigation and Protection Agency, SIPA during an investigation into war crimes committed in Bratunac, is due to enter his plea on Monday, January 30.
On that same day a plea hearing is due to be held in the case of Saban and Elvir Djelilbasic, former members of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who are charged with murder of two Serb civilians in Turbe in 1992.
A hearing at which a State Prosecution’s motion for extension of custody for Zeljko Jukic, who is charged with crimes against humanity in Prozor area in 1993, is due to be held on Monday.
On Wednesday, February 1 the parties will present the Appellate Chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina with their appeals to the first instance verdict, under which Slavko Lalovic was sentenced, in August last year, to five years in prison for crimes in Kalinovik,
On Friday, February 3 the retrial is due to begin before the second instance Chamber in the case of Zoran Babic, Milorad Skrbic, Dusan Jankovic and Zeljko Stojnic, who are charged with the murder of about 150 people at Koricanske stijene, Mount Vlasic in August 1992.
In December 2010 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina pronounced a first instance verdict, sentencing Babic, Skrbic, Jankovic and Stojnic, former members of the Public Safety Station in Prijedor, to 86 years in prison in total. The verdict was revoked and a retrial ordered in October last year. Indictee Jankovic has been on the run since the pronouncement of the first instance verdict. An arrest warrant was issued against him.
On Monday the Appellate Chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina is due to complete the presentation of evidence at the retrial of Djordjislav Askraba, who is charged with crimes committed in Kalinovik.
Dusko Jevic, Mendeljev Djuric, Goran Markovic and Nedjo Ikonic, former members of the Jahorina Training Centre with the Special Brigade of Republika Srpska police, who are charged with genocide in Srebrenica, are due to appear in court on Monday and Thursday.
The continuation of the trial of Dragan Neskovic and Zoran Ilic, who are charged with crimes in Srebrenica, is scheduled for Tuesday, January 31.
Franc Kos, Stanko Kojic, Vlastimir Golijan and Zoran Goronja, whom the State Prosecution charges with genocide in Srebrenica and participation in the murder of more than 800 men and boys on Branjevo military farm in July 1995, are due to appear before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Tuesday and Friday.
On Monday, Wednesday and Thursday State Prosecution witnesses are due to continue testifying at the trial of Veselin Vlahovic, who is indicted for crimes in Grbavica, Kovacici and Vraca, Sarajevo.
On Monday and Friday the Prosecution is due to continue presenting evidence at the trial of Mensur Memic, Dzevad Salcin, Senad Hakalovic, Nedzad Hodzic, Nihad Bojadzic and Zulfikar Alispago for murders committed in Trusina.
On Tuesday new State Prosecution witnesses are due to be examined at the trial of Fikret Planincic, Rasim Lisancic, Sead Menzil and Mirsad Vatrac, who are charged with crimes in Kotor-Varos. The trial of Albina Terzic for crimes in Odzak continues on that same day.
On Wednesday the trials are due to continue in the case of former members of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina - Zurahid Mujcinovic and Sulejman Hrustic, who are charged with crimes committed in Srebrenik, and Mehura Selimovic, Adil Ruznic and Emir Mustafic, who are charged with crimes in Bosnian Kajina. On that same day and Thursday the Prosecution is due to continue presenting evidence at the trial of Veselko and Ivo Raguz for crimes committed in Stolac and Capljina.
Jasko Gazdic, who is charged with crimes in Foca, is due to appear in court on Wednesday, while the trials of Ratko Dronjak, who is charged with crimes in Drvar, Eso Macic for crimes in Konjic and Drazen Mikulic, who is indicted for crimes in Dretelj detention camp, Capljina are due to continue on Thursday.
The trial for crimes at Koricanske stijene, which are charged upon Sasa Zecevic, Radoslav Knezevic, Petar Civcic, Marinko Ljepoja and Branko Topola, continues on Thursday.
On Friday new State Prosecution witnesses are due to be examined at the trial of Milun Kornjaca, Milorad Zivkovic and Dusko Tadic, who are charged with crimes in Cajnice.
