19 March 2010 The State Court orders a three-month custody extension in the case of Milun Kornjaca, Milorad Zivkovic and Dusko Tadic, who are suspected of crimes against non-Serbs from Cajnice.
By the terms of the decision rendered by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the three suspects may stay in custody until June 15 this year at the latest.
The State Prosecution suspects that Milun Kornjaca, former Commander of the "Plavi orlovi" ("Blue Eagles") paramilitary formation, Dusko Tadic, a member of the same paramilitary Unit, and Milorad Zivkovic, former Chief of the Public Safety Station in Cajnice, participated in crimes committed in the "Hunters' House" and in Mostina, in Cajnice municipality, from April to the end of 1992.
The three suspects were arrested in December last year. They have been held in custody since then.
The Prosecution filed a custody extension motion (note: link to "Kornjaca et al: Extensive and Complex Investigation" - March 15) on the basis of "reasonable fear" that the suspects might influence witnesses and accomplices and disturb the public peace if released.
The suspects' Defence teams called on the Court to release their clients and order "certain prohibiting measures" against them.
