05 March 2010 Next week, on March 12, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina is due to pronounce a first instance verdict in the case of two former members of the Serbian Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina Army, who are charged with the murder of three civilians in the Zvornik area.
Ljubo Tomic and Krsto Josic, former members of the Serbian Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina Army, are charged with having killed three Bosniaks, who were hiding in Marhosi forest, in Kozluk, Zvornik municipality, on June 26, 1992.
On Tuesday, March 9 the Defence of Radomir Vukovic, a former member of the Second Special Police Squad, who is charged, together with Zoran Tomic, with genocide in Srebrenica, is due to continue presenting closing arguments. The trial will then be completed, after more than one year of evidence presentation.
On March 8 and 10 the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina is due to continue examining witnesses at the trial of Vinko Kondic, Bosko Lukic and Marko Adamovic, former members of police and military structures, who are charged with crimes committed in the Kljuc area during the course of 1991 and 1992.
Gojko Klickovic is due to continue presenting evidence on Tuesday, March 9 and Wednesday, March 10. Klickovic, Mladen Drljaca and Jovan Ostojic are charged with a number of crimes committed in Bosanska Krupa during 1992.
The Defence of Zoran Babic, Milorad Radakovic, Milorad Skrbic, Ljubisa Cetic, Dusan Jankovic and Zeljko Stojnic, former members of the Interventions Squad with the Prijedor police, who are charged with shooting 200 civilians at Koricanske stijene on Mount Vlasic, are due to continue presenting evidence on March 8 and 9.
On Wednesday, March 10 and Thursday, March 11 Radoje Lalovic and Soniboj Skiljevic are due to appear before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Prosecution charges them with crimes committed in "Butmir" Penal and Correctional Facility in Kula, near Sarajevo, from 1992 to 1995. The Defence of the second indictee is due to continue presenting evidence.
On March 10 new Prosecution witnesses are due to testify against Mehura Selimovic, Adil Ruznic and Emir Mustafic, who are charged with the torture and detention of civilians and prisoners-of-war, members of the VRS and Republika Srpska police, in Bihac, Cazin and the Bosanski Petrovac area from 1994 to 1996.
On Thursday, March 11 the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina is due to continue presenting evidence at the trial of Darko Dolic, a former member of the "Rama" Brigade with the Croatian Defence Council, HVO, who is charged with war crimes against civilians committed in the Prozor area during 1993.
On the same day the Prosecution is due to continue presenting evidence against Zeljko Ivanovic, who is charged with participation in the shooting of more than 1,000 Srebrenica residents in "Kravica" Agricultural Cooperative, and Alija Osmic, who is charged with crimes against Bosnian Croats from Bugojno committed during 1993 and 1994.
On March 8 and 12 the retrial of Milos Stupar is due to continue before the Appellate Chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 2008 Stupar was sentenced, by a first instance verdict, to 40 years in prison for genocide committed in Srebrenica.
