Education and better mutual cooperation

09 December 2011  At a meeting organized between the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN) BiH, the Association of Court Reporters and representatives of judicial institutions which have headquarters in Sarajevo, as well as law enforcement agencies and media it was concluded that there is a need for education, and better cooperation.

07 December 2011  Members of the Association of Reporters from the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, cantonal and district courts in Bosnia and Herzegovina, AIS, met on November 19 in order to summarize the activities conducted and results achieved during 2011 and make a work plan for next year.

Empowerment of Civil Society Needed

11 November 2011  Sadeta Skaljic, Assistant Minister of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina, stressed the need for adopting a strategic act in Bosnia and Herzegovina that would strengthen the role of civil society and thus encourage citizens to take a more active role and enable them to implement useful projects from international funds.

17 October 2011  Representatives of BIRN and the Association of State Court Reporters, AIS held a joint meeting with judicial institutions from the Una-Sana Canton and the media stations, reporting on war crimes trials, on October 13.
