15 September 2008 At a regular meeting of the Association of Court Reporters, AIS, held in Sarajevo on September 10, the participants agreed upon the details pertaining to a workshop for AIS members, as well as new meetings with local media and judiciary representatives, to be held in Travnik and Brcko.
It was agreed to hold the first AIS workshop in Sarajevo on Saturday, October 18. The workshop participants will include AIS members, as well as associates and journalists from local communities.
Details on the next one, out of the four planned meetings, of journalists and judiciary representatives were also agreed upon. The first two meetings were held in Doboj and Trebinje earlier this year.
The third meeting will take place in Brcko, while the fourth meeting, which will be the last one in this series, will be held in Travnik.
The meetings will last for one day. AIS reporters will meet with local media representatives in the morning hours, while a joint meeting of journalists and judiciary representatives will be organised in the afternoon.
The meeting in Brcko will take place on Wednesday, November 5 and the one in Travnik will be held on Wednesday, December 3.
Reporters from the Federal News Agency, FENA, Nezavisne novine, TVBiH and BIRN Justice Report, as well as representatives of Konrad Adenauer Foundation participated in this meeting.
The Association of Court Reporters was established in 2005 in order to acquaint the public, through coordinated activities, with the work of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its Prosecution.
AIS is financially supported by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation as part of the BIRN BiH project on "Media, Civil Society and War Crime Trials.
