20 April 2009 Amila started
her career as an administrative assistant in 2000, when she started working for
Regulatory Commission for Communications of Bosnia and Herzegovina, whose responsibilities
where to collate, translate and file of all monitoring sources.
Latter, in 2001,
Amila started working as a Assistant (office manager and interpreter) for PA
Consulting Group USAID funded project based in Sarajevo where she assisted in development of
Study on energy sector reform and privatization in BiH.
Further, in
2001, Amila started working as a Administrative/paralegal assistant for Pierce
Atwood a Law Firm branch office based in Sarajevo
and funded by US Government.
Amila joined the
BIRN BiH as full time Administrative and Financial Officer in April 2008.
